Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
In wet conditions, the terrain may be soft. But we're on sand. It's between the fence posts, over a slight grassy threshold from the dirt road that runs along the fence. However, as it is rutted through the field, the owner has made it difficult for cars parked in the field to enter, so please call to make sure the entrance is on the village road. Do not drive along the path between the gardens, you cannot get directly onto the property this way, but you can leave your car in the paddock off the path if it can stay about 30m away.
Restriction of the access road
A wider caravan can also be driven across the width. But you don't turn around for trees in the garden. If you don't drive well, we can do it another way.

The surrounding area is cycling-friendly, there are many marked routes and access to nearby tourist destinations.

Forest ponds or various informal swimming pools are accessible on foot or by bike within 10km. The river is also close by and boat hire and water tourism is developing.

Apart from the forests just outside the garden, the lookout tower in Vrbica, the Baroque staircase to Homol, nature trails, pleasant landscape in the village, attractions in Chocni, Kostelec n.O., Potštejn, Častolovice and other places are accessible on foot.
Other activities
The house used to be a rural eco-education centre. It is possible to arrange to rent equipment or games for children and adults. There is a revived small local museum of rural life, accessible by appointment only.

It was great! We have no problem with finding the spot, owner is really commucative and neighbours really welcoming.
Beautiful place which has its pluses and minuses , use for children in the neighborhood with the possibility of visiting the museum and the farm with goat dašenkou.in the vicinity of a great pond for swimming,and plenty of excursions both on foot and by bike.
The land on the edge of the fields, occasionally a cyclist or a neighbour would pass on the village road, it didn't bother anyone. It was quiet anyway😊
But what surprised us unpleasantly was a hornets nest on the edge of the property. As an allergy sufferer I am equipped with first aid, but I wouldn't have voluntarily gone up against it if I had known about the hornets beforehand. 🐝
It would certainly be advisable to state this fact in the description of the property.
Admittedly they only noticed us peripherally, flew over, looked, but it wasn't pleasant.
In conclusion, apart from these buzzing critters, the stay was fine😊
The property was not quite ready for the season when we visited (first half of May). The grass had not been completely mowed, the seating area had been taken to the adjacent property where the grass was a metre high, and the fire pit had been demolished.
But it served our purpose-staying overnight in a private and quiet location in this area.
In the summer, the place will definitely be awesome-trees, shade, view, quiet. Thank you and we will be happy to return in the season.
