The garden with mature trees at the end of the village is in the corner of the gardens, next to the village road and adjacent to other gardens. On one of them behind the fence is a farm shed, on another plot in the paddock you will find a source of good quality water. During the school year, a forest nursery with a teepee built on the next adjacent plot (behind the trees) operates during daylight hours. There is a fire pit and a single table and bench on the field. However, as it is rutted through the field, the owner has made it difficult for cars parked in the field to enter, so please call to make sure the entrance is on the village road. Do not drive along the path between the gardens, you cannot get directly onto the property this way, but you can leave your car in the paddock off the path if it can stay about 30m away.

The place is really quiet and peaceful (I don't count the rooster from the nearby building, it belongs to the colour :) ). It is just big enough for one site and it is fenced. But the fence has its gaps - especially from the bottom, plus the gate is missing completely. So if you have a small dog, an explorer, this fence will not stop him. You have to look for the gate for the entrance - it is actually a part of the fence that you have to pull aside. It would be a bit of a hassle to get in and out on a daily basis. If you're expecting a golf course, it's really not. Part of it was sort of mowed, but the other part was really overgrown, including the nettles. On the other hand, you appreciate the quiet, the shade under the trees, the nice water from the borehole and the cheerful bathhouse. For weekend sleeping and as a base for bike trips the place served very well, the surroundings are great for bikes and dogs, including several ponds and a great pub in nearby Kostelecka Lhota. So we are satisfied and if you don't mind the above described details, we highly recommend it.
