The land is passable even in bad weather. At the entrance paved area.
The last 300m or so is a bit overgrown, but we try to cut it regularly and therefore it should be passable for larger vehicles (no problem even with our integrated Concorde motorhome - 8m long and 3.3m high).
The land is located directly on the cycle path 2157, which leads e.g. to the technical monument of the water hammer in Dobřív, from where it is possible to continue e.g. to the Padrťský ponds in Brdy or to other beautiful places in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area. We will be happy to personally refine the specific bike tour according to the requirements and abilities of the participants.
Borecký Pond belongs to the hunting grounds. It is common to catch carp, bream, tench, pike. But also pikeperch or eel. The pond is also home to Amur or Karas. Beware, the smaller ponds in the vicinity are breeding ponds and fishing is forbidden there.
Buližníkové rocks of this historically important climbing terrain are located near the peak Žďár. Here you can find nice climbing in slabs and perpendicular walls, mostly belayed with crampons. The rock can be divided into 8 parts but only three sectors are important for climbing. The whole large peak is a state nature reserve with a forest of rock beeches and various botanical peculiarities. Nearby there is also a unique stone sea.More at http://www.lezec.cz/pruvodcx.php?key=32
When there is enough snow, there are many unpaved cross-country skiing trails around Žďár. Many trails also in Brdy.
1.5 km from the property is the Borecký pond, which has recently been cleaned and is suitable for swimming.
Geocaching. There are a large number of geocaches around the property that will take you to interesting places in the nature park.
The Trhoň Nature Park offers many hiking trails and interesting places. We definitely recommend the Arboretum Žďár above the Bouchalka grove. It was founded in the seventies by the Rokytnice forester Ing. Kamil Matoušek. Today, there are thirty species, which are the most frequently encountered in our forests. On the way to the top, we recommend a stop at the Little and Great Altar, which are about 2 km away. The actual peak of Žďár is 2.5 km from the property. According to one of the legends, there is a stone on Žďár under which a treasure is located. According to another, a castle once stood there. Some of the characters and apparitions you might see on Žďár include a black dog, a whistling snake or a bearded man in green clothes. Contemporary visitors are sure to be drawn to a place that gives off energy. It's located at the very top, near a box that houses a summit book that you can sign. The site is marked by stones stacked around the cumin of the tree. All you have to do is stretch your hands over it and feel the energy. You shouldn't miss the ten restored clear wells as you walk around. The water hammer in Dobriv is 7 km away.
The surrounding forests are suitable for mushroom picking. In Brdy, which is the highest hilly area in Central Bohemia, most mushroom picking takes place during the mushroom growing season from June to October, except for breaks when these mushrooms do not grow. For more skilled cyclists or motor tourists, we recommend the nearby Kozel Castle, the ruins of Radyně Castle, the Fairytale Farm in Vranovice, or the lookout tower at Kotl.
There are piles of stacked firewood and brushwood in front of the entrance to the property. The no entry sign at the driveway is accompanied by an additional sign specifying that entry is permitted for residents. We are open to any discussion and ideas.
