Garden in the castle

The garden with a farm is located in a secluded area, in the middle of the orchards that line the western part of Týn nad Bečvou. It is off the main road, offers privacy and has a charming atmosphere. The area is 3000 square meters and is divided between you and the animals. Behind the fence are sheep and in the summer months donkeys. You have a view of the Moravian Gate, the beautiful quarry and Helfstyn Castle, overall the garden is full of interesting corners.
The garden is entirely fenced and there are plenty of fruit trees, which provide plenty of shade even on sultry days. The garden has a fireplace, seating area, hammocks, sandpit, swings, toys for children. You can pitch a tent or park a caravan, there is plenty of space. There is no electricity or water.

The garden is a base for horses and sheep. We also have them as lawnmowers, they keep the garden continuously maintained and mowed :-) we just tune up with a mower and a brushcutter. In the summer there are two donkeys in the garden, who already come here regularly for holidays. The horses graze the pastures in Týn in the summer and are mostly out of the garden, but it is possible to arrange rides. During the big holidays there is a summer kitchen in the garden.

Nearby is the Helfštýn castle about 30 minutes on foot, an excellent cycle path, the river Bečva, Lipník and its monuments, quarries, caves in Hranice and much more... however, come, see, feel and experience the magic of the Moravian Gate.
