The Radim Chateau, built in 1610, is one of the most impressive examples of a Renaissance country residence of the middle nobility. We offer the possibility for two reservations at our castle. In the summer months there is the possibility to use the hectares of parkland, in the winter months there is the possibility of paved parking in the car park.There is a toilet and on weekends and in the summer months a castle café. The chateau is open all year round (on weekends). The grounds are located in the middle of the village, but due to its size it is very quiet. The train stop is about 300 metres away.

On the first Saturday of Advent, 30.11.2024, the Radim Chateau and the historical group Adamant invite you to costumed Advent tours from 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm. You will experience a beautiful Christmas story in a pure Renaissance castle. A Christmas market awaits you in the courtyard from 11 am to 5 pm. And traditional treats in the café. Nice environment in the garden of the castle, the owner very nice and helpful gentleman. There was music playing on the football field next door until about midnight, but it was only distantly audible. Then it was completely quiet.
The only minus is the non-existent water connection, you have to go to the kitchen sink with a canister to get water.
Both the castle and the stylish cafe, which serves the best cakes in the world, are worth a visit.

Nice place with plenty of shade, beautiful courtyard, animal enclosure, fireplace, sink and flush toilet, clothes dryer which comes in handy after a visit to the nearby swimming pool (nothing really special but it's a nice refreshment on hot days and sufficient for kids). It definitely has charm and atmosphere and would be very nice if it was at least a little quiet. Which unfortunately was absolutely not the case during our stay. Already in the afternoon on arrival, the terrace and the lawn in front of it were occupied by a very noisy company indeed. Although parts of the property are separated by bushes, this has no effect on the noise and not much on any privacy, as they had a smoking area on the "our" side. As the evening wore on, the shouting and noise was joined by music so loud you couldn't hear your own words. Some noises from the road or the nearby football field were nothing compared to that. It was like a carousel somewhere, we couldn't even talk to each other normally. The highlight of everything was some endless stupid Spartan chant played over and over again, accompanied by drunken shouting. When we listened to it for the fourth time during the evening, I felt like packing up and leaving (well, we didn't, so we had to listen to it several more times during the night). In the meantime, there was some singing with guitar, which would have been quite bearable, but later again loud music, screaming, no consideration, no peace at night, after midnight I preferred not to look at my watch, it was impossible to sleep. One would like to be lenient and tolerant, but this was an extreme beyond description. Even in the biggest and most narrated camps, I have never experienced such a brutal all-night racket that no one even bothered to make any effort to correct. I don't know if it was some sort of celebration, or why this bunch of inconsiderate loud-mouthed idiots were screaming all night (and again the next day, just as soon as they woke up). Anyway, in such cases, camping spots shouldn't be rented out at the same time, because the two don't seem to go together at all.
However, I believe that if someone is not as unlucky as we were, they might be excited about the place. (That's why I don't rate it completely negatively, although it was really awful for us).

Very nice place to stay, great atmosphere in the castle. We definitely recommend not only the overnight stay, but also a visit to the café, we have not eaten better cakes :-)
