Large natural garden in Louny #4859

Relax in a place where you'll be away from civilisation, yet just below the city centre. A city where a charming café, a stunning gallery, delicious pizza and a brewery with the best beer we know await you.

Note that near the gardens there is a restaurant with a large outdoor area, where sometimes on weekends concerts, reunions, weddings... Unfortunately we got a lower rating from one guest for this - we didn't give advance notice that there would be music playing nearby at night. If this is important to you, we can find out the actual dates of the events.

Land
The property is located adjacent to a defunct arm of the Ohře River, which left the Louns with a picturesque pool full of duck friends and other wildlife that you can walk around to view. The garden offers relaxation, a pergola with facilities, a fireplace, activities for children (a large wooden teepee, hammock, toys, swing, sandpit, chickens), a healthy enclosure for dogs, a view of the church and blending in with nature. Everyone who has ever visited has stated that they feel very optimistic about the place and leave feeling as recharged as possible. Could it be the old varieties of apple trees, the meadow, the ladybirds, the woodpeckers, the dragonflies, the frogs, the laughter of the children - away from all the roads?

For whom
An ideal place to stay for hikers discovering the beauty of the city and for day trippers heading to the Bohemian Central Highlands (we'll be happy to recommend the best hill to trek - where you can have a beer as a reward, where it's more like climbing, where it's wonderful for kids, etc.). Dogs, babies, bigger kids, parents, sports enthusiasts, people with a gardener's heart, non-luxury lovers have all been happy with us.

Background
Although there are solar lights on the pergola, know that there is electricity on the property. Drinking water and a natural solar shower are also handy. We only use it as a cold shower, but if you want a stream of warm water, the shower can be moved to the sun. For those who wish to stay overnight in winter, we recommend the option of showering in the Loun swimming pool, which is an architectural construction of 2021 and offers extremely comfortable facilities including an indoor bar, saunas and a water slide. Although we are advocates of natural bathing, we highly recommend this experience.

Swimming
For those who like to swim in the river, we have great news. Comfortable swimming, including a seating area with refreshments, is about a 5-minute walk from the garden. The Ohře River is clean and refreshing.

Cooking
You can cook on the two burner camping stove and refrigerate food in the fridge located in the cabin. A kettle and basic dining equipment (a couple of plates, cutlery, cups, glasses) are available for you to use - they often drip under the trees, it's best to rinse everything before use.

Sleep
You can sleep in a tent, in a car (the car will pass without any problems), in a hammock, under a wide open space. We can rent a travel cot for the baby.
We also offer the option of sleeping in a wooden hut (see our other advert) which has a sofa bed for 2, a bed for 1 larger child plus the option of an additional (wooden) cot with a quality baby mattress.

The life of the others
There are warm gardeners in the immediate vicinity who stay overnight in their garden. We therefore ask that you please respect the nighttime quiet. We always ask for quiet and friendly behaviour.

Other options
You can store bikes in the sheds by arrangement.
Refreshments are available in the small children's pool.
Possibility to rent a Thule Sport 1 trolley for a fee, which will serve with exceptional comfort in the city and on more difficult terrain.
