An asphalt road leads almost to the back of the zoo property. The last 200 metres is a paved, gravel road. To the property itself you go through the horse paddock. The road is regularly ridden, up a slight hill. Of course, as on other similar paths, everything depends on the weather.
Chyňava is located in front of the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. There are many cycling routes through this region. One of the routes of the Křivoklástý circuit leads directly through Chyňava. You can go to Křivoklát, Dědkův Mlýn, Beroun, Klíčava,...
We have several play elements for children in the zoo. Barefoot trail, slide, trampoline ...
There are several marked paths around us. The Křivoklástko Protected Landscape Area is within easy reach.
Horse riding can be arranged in the next village. By prior arrangement and ordering in advance.
We are also happy to offer you activities directly at our zoo. Lamatreking, goat trekking, you can become a keeper for a day. These activities must be booked in advance. Sometimes several weeks in advance. Arrangements must be made in advance.
All our rules are based on the reason "a normal person wouldn't do this".
You're in a zoo, with animals, think about that first.
Please keep things tidy, please take your rubbish away - we have containers for sorted waste.
Do not feed animals where it is not allowed and what it is not allowed with.
Keep an eye on your dogs.
For the time being we will not offer you the possibility to make a fire for safety reasons (we will build a fireplace for you in time).
Do not spill anything in the grass - grass is used as animal food.
If traffic permits and you are not followed by another reservation, you may stay until the evening. Just make arrangements.
Our assistance is always needed to arrive and leave, sometimes you may need to wait a while before we clear the animals, the ticket office - the traffic. Thank you for your understanding.
Fire lighting, only in the designated area.
Arrival possible from 10:00 or 17:00. It is ideal to make arrangements with us in advance - we drive through the public part of the Zoopark so that we do not complicate each other's lives :-).
Arrival from: 17:00
Departure until: 10:00
Can I come anytime?
We visited the property ourselves and were absolutely charmed by it. It is a small zoo, but all the more "cosy". The animals are really at your fingertips. You get the feeling of such a family atmosphere. The no-camping area is all the way at the back in a slight hill, where you have peace and quiet. The way to the place is through the horse paddock and past the camels. Which is an experience in itself. With a camel running beside you and looking you in the eye. Or there's a herd around you. The "safari" feeling doesn't go away. The road is rutted with traffic. Unless you arrive in the monsoon season, you'll get to the place without any problems. All you need to do is make arrangements in advance to arrive - the zoo is being built by enthusiasts and there are no octopuses to be everywhere at once. It's only after closing time that it's the real deal. For example, go watch the porcupines in the evening when they come alive and watch them burrow. In the evening, be sure to go watch the camels move into their night quarters from the outdoor enclosure.
