I offer a rental plot for caravans and motorhomes, which have their own shower and toilet, in a quiet location in the countryside, but at the same time a short walk from the center of Kaplice with all amenities. The site is free to access and is marked with a NoKamp sign. It is a place in close proximity to our horses with the possibility of rides or rides to the surrounding area even for beginners. We have three dachshunds living here with us on a free range basis. They can be heard occasionally and may even visit you. The land is behind the back of our house, there is a second house nearby behind the woods but you can't even see it, we only have a shared driveway so privacy is assured. I would still recommend pointing the motorhome across to the meadows to ensure complete privacy.
You can spend your holiday here by active relaxation (hiking, boating, cycling, horse riding), but also use this place as a great starting point for attractive destinations, such as Český Krumlov, Třeboň, Hluboká n/Vlt., Dobrá Voda, Novohradské hory, Lipno, Žofínský prales, Pohoří na Šumavě and other beautiful places in the area. Or use the land just for a sleepover before moving to Austria. We will always be happy to welcome you here.

The land for rent is accessible by an asphalt road that leads from Kaplice to the village of Žďár and is intended only for pedestrians and cyclists, so there is a sign at the beginning of the road prohibiting the entry of motor vehicles, but do not worry about it, we also drive here, otherwise we would not get home. Just remember to turn off before the stables. At the end of the tarmac road by the woods on the right is a round flat area for you. There is plenty of room to reverse, but if anyone has a long rig, we can possibly allow you to leave via the paddock by arrangement.

Please do not go into the paddocks with horses without permission, do not feed the horses!!
Our dogs live here with us on a free range basis, so their occasional barking must be tolerated, sometimes they will run out to keep watch at night, but if we are at home and have guests we close them up for the night.
We may not be home at the time of your arrival but feel free to settle in on site, drinking water in a garden hose brought from the house and electric cable will be ready on the property.
Arrival and departure times can be changed as you need, just make arrangements.

The place is located a few hundred metres from the Kaplice estate (I only know about it by passing through the place), but it's like being teleported hundreds of kilometres away to a land of wild pastures where horses run around. :-) Thanks to the lovely owner for a great camping trip!

Just for the owners of larger homes, beware of the driveway, which is on asphalt all the way to the site, but with a higher slope and limited width (see photo). I arrived with a 2.5m wide caravan from the direction of Kaplice and although I made it through quickly and unscathed, it was not pleasant. I preferred to go the other way through Žďár, where it is not so "bloody".
