Banat, a vast region stretching across parts of Romania, Serbia and Hungary, is home to a rich mosaic of ethnic groups, including a small but significant Czech community. Czech settlers arrived in the area in the 19th century, seeking refuge from economic and social hardships in Bohemia. They established several villages, such as Gerník, Rovensko, Sv.Helena and others, where they still maintain their traditional customs, language and cultural heritage. These villages, characterised by their resilience and preservation of Czech identity in a foreign environment, are a valuable testimony of adaptation and survival. The Czech Banat attracts the attention not only of tourists, but also of historians and anthropologists who study its unique culture and history.

We will be happy to invite you to this site without camping and with your caravan or tent.
You must take the Banat as it is. With its simple environment that may not suit everyone. Don't count on luxurious facilities. The time and environment is a little different here. Just like Grandma's XY years ago.

**In the farm yard and garden.
This is the original house used for tourist accommodation and where you can use the yard for your caravan or motorhome or the garden behind the walk-through barn for camping.
Please allow for the normal traffic that may be in the farmhouse and also for other guests that may be staying in the house.
The land for caravans and motorhomes is a hardstanding and level site.
Attention !!! Restriction of passage for caravans: max. width is 2.40m , height 2.60m. The site is therefore suitable for caravans or smaller cars.

You will be rewarded with unforgettable encounters with the local people, knowledge of a part of our history and a charming landscape.
There are marked hiking trails for hikers as well as cyclists.
