Czech Selo (Češko Selo - Czech village) is one of the Czech villages in the Vojvodina region of Serbia. Like in the Romanian Banat, the Czech community here was formed as a result of the migration of Czechs in the 19th century. The village of Ceske Selo was founded by Czech colonists who came to Serbia in search of new life opportunities. These settlers settled mainly in the fertile fields of Vojvodina, where they could engage in agriculture. The Czech community here, as in Banat, has preserved its cultural and linguistic traditions. Today, villages like Ceske Selo are important centres of Czech culture in Serbia, with active clubs, cultural events and the maintenance of Czech traditions. Despite the influence of surrounding cultures and integration into the wider social environment, this community still maintains its unique identity.

You must take the Banat as it is. With its specific environment that may not suit everyone. But it has a unique charm for our people.

Land in Cesky Selo
The place for camping is located at the Czech House in the centre of the village (it includes a museum). There is more than enough space for camping. You can use the grassy areas along the access road or even the inner yard/garden. In the inner part of the grounds you will find a playground for children. In the adjacent house it is also possible to use the facilities in the form of a kitchen, toilet, shower.... There is also an information centre where you can buy small refreshments or souvenirs.
