Glamping under the oak tree Skramouš (Mšeno) #5779

In operation again from April 2025.

Enjoy a night close to nature, in a quiet and private place, with an evening campfire, an outdoor shower, a night of stargazing and a morning wake-up call to the sounds of birdsong.

IMPORTANT tent is not in the town of Mšeno but in the village of Skramouš, 3km from Mšeno.

From Skramouš to Mšeno is 3 km, by car 4 minutes and on foot in the field about 20 min, you can also reach Mšeno by bike. On weekends and during summer holidays there is also a train connection to Skramouš.

On the meadow where the tent stands you will be alone, only under the land in close proximity there is a garden where the neighbor has a garden with vegetables and a couple of hives with bees, on the land occasionally commutes to check, but you will not be disturbed from him.

There is another accommodation (tiny house) about 200m from the tent. However, both plots have privacy and their own facilities.

There is a field above the meadow where a tractor occasionally runs.

The land is fenced and we are happy to welcome dogs, beware small breeds like Chihuahua can escape through the fence.

The property can be easily accessed by car and free parking is available.

The tent can be booked for up to 5 people.

FACILITIES
The tent is equipped with bed linen, towels, a large double bed, a sofa bed and, if 5 people are visiting, a folding mattress.

Card and board games also included.

Plenty of fresh drinking water also provided, barrels of drinking water replenished during longer stays.

The site has solar lighting, there are torch lights, headlamp and portable lantern inside the tent.

I recommend bringing your own power bank.

KITCHEN
There is an outdoor kitchen on the property with a gas cooker. The kitchen is equipped to cook comfortably. There are basic utensils, spices, tea, coffee, etc...equipment needed for grilling, also bins for sorted and organic waste.
Refrigerator is NOT available.

GARDEN
The garden has a fire pit, seating area and hammock.

BBQ
For grilling there is a tripod with a grill which is placed over the fireplace.

SHOP
On the property there is an outdoor solar shower with fresh drinking water additional water that can be added to the shower. Soap also available.

TOILET
The toilet is dry separating.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The property is in a quiet and private location but it is not a completely secluded and remote location, you may see a tractor, a neighbour in the next garden or someone from the village walking their dog, however this is in the distance on the road.

The property is without electricity (fridge) running hot water and a flush toilet.

I recommend packing warm clothes, waterproof boots and a jacket in case of rain.
