We went to Teepee for our holiday adventure with our 6 and 7 year olds and friends. It was absolutely divine! The place- peaceful and away from civilization, a creek with pools where the kids even swam, a farm with animals, a pond for swimming. Amenities- teepee huge and comfortable, oversized washrooms and chemical toilet, toiletries added, drinking water furnished, lighted and a wooden path to the toilet that is both practical and awfully romantic:) It's been spruced up to the last detail- solar lights, decorations, blankets to cover up, sun loungers available... The owner is great, helpful, advises, provides info. We took advantage of the pony rides several times, which totally exceeded my expectations- cresting a ridge, riding through the woods for an hour, wading through a stream, and taking the ponies out to pasture. My kids, my friends' kids and us adults- we were all absolutely thrilled and would recommend and hope to return:)

We visited with our children (8years old). The kids paddled in the creek, built houses for the elves, looked at the stars without the light smog and enjoyed roasting marshmallows.
We were completely carefree, everything was ready-toilet paper by the chemical toilet, wood, trays and skewers by the fire pit. 2 hammocks, a ball, some children's games.
The only thing you really need is to bring a mattress and a sleeping bag and a bit of courage, because the forest animals will come to shyly peek at you.:-)
It was great, the kids were excited and so were we.

A wonderful place for larger groups with children. The creek is an endless source of fun in itself and coupled with the farmhouse within walking distance the place is second to none.
