A grassy area behind the operations building is available for non-campers (refreshments will be available here during the holiday season - when the line is open).
The land is regularly mowed and maintained. There are also shared sanitary facilities in the building.

We visited the property ourselves and used it to our maximum satisfaction. It is situated on a meadow within the station area. The entrance is behind a locked gate. Easy access to the property. After the rains you just need to be careful parking at the back, it can get a bit waterlogged here - until dry. But a charming and interesting plot for train lovers. The track is currently being prepared for re-launch. Traffic will have to be reckoned with during the season.
