Camp wild in TYPI UMAKI

Our tepee will be a great base for you.

We are not glamping. UMAKI is an equipped teepee, with great facilities, a relaxed atmosphere and is baby friendly.
The capacity is basically for 4 people, but you can expand the beds to a full 6 beds. However, the reduced space in the teepee must be taken into account. In the cold season, when a fire is made inside, count on a maximum capacity of 5 beds.
Beds are always made with clean sheets, but please remember to bring sleeping bags or blankets.

There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, or driving in the nearby and more distant surroundings.
Nearby are the ruins of Kouty Castle, the Votice butterfly museum, Polský vrch. More distant places are e.g. the mythical Mount Blaník, where you can reach by car in 20 minutes. Parazoo Vlašim, or the castle park... Monínec https://leto.moninec.cz/aktivity-park.

In hot weather I recommend visiting the biotope in Votice.
We have established cooperation with a local ranch and so it is possible to use their offer of activities - quad biking (adults only), dredging with a backhoe, paintball, wellness (whirlpool and Finnish sauna)

If you like good meat on the grill, I recommend a visit to the company's shop of Rancher specialties, located right in Jestřebice. They have not only great marinated meat for the grill, but also excellent sausages, or preserved soups, sauces. This will be great for your kettle, which is also available in the tepee :-)

Only one reservation is possible in the teepee, so no one else is accommodated on the property.
However, the gazebo at the lower pond is not only for the use of the guests of the tepee, but is also sometimes used by the owner of the property with family or friends. This must be taken into account.

Most of the time the tepees are completely quiet, but the land adjacent to the tepees needs to be maintained to keep it looking the way it does.
Sometimes you need to mow the grassland and grass around the tepees and ponds, trim branches, burn something... It is not always possible to do this when the tepee is without guests. It's too much work. Thank you for your understanding.

Biotop Votice - very nice swimming, there is a paddling pool for small children, then one larger shallower pool and a third deep pool. There are refreshments and seating. There is also a beach volleyball court near the biotope.

In the near future we will finish the Indian trail that will lead from the Olbramovice railway station to UMAKI. In Votice there is a children's playground, a butterflyarium, a lookout tower Václavka, every Sunday in the summer in the monastery a theatre for children
In the tepee itself there are toys for children, things for drawing, board games, books

There is an immense amount of hiking trails in the surroundings.
For example, the nature trail along the Way of the Cross through Votick.

rules

Making a fire inside the tepee is only possible if it is impossible to make a fire outside or if it is cold. If you make a fire inside, please make it small, because even a small fire will warm the teepee well and also - better a small fire than a teepee on fire :-)

There is a shelter by the lower pond where you can find an electricity socket to recharge your phone or power bank. You can use this shelter, but please note that it is not primarily for guests only, but is sometimes used by the landowner with family or friends (not often, but occasionally yes).
Please keep it tidy and remember to take your rubbish away.

Beautiful, large, comfortable and equipped teepee in a great location. There was really nothing missing, on the contrary, there was a nice surprise ("minibar" in the stream). Arrangement with Markét was trouble-free, the owner is nice, helpful, recommends what to visit in the area. It was an unforgettable holiday experience for us and the kids. An amazing place for a walking trip from the train station, even for the youngest children.
The land is perfectly taken care of and you can see at first glance that the owner really puts a lot of work into it and takes care of it with love.
Although we were caught in the rain, we were warm and dry and didn't miss anything at all. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the board games facilities were the icing on the cake. Just great.

A great experience! The location and the teepee far exceeded our expectations. There are 4 ponds/ponds around the teepee, everything is freely accessible, our kids (4 and 6 years old) really had a blast. In addition, the teepee is luxuriously equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of extra stuff I wouldn't have expected :) The owner is kind and helpful, thank you! We were only there for one night, but we will definitely come again and for more days.
