Our tepee will be a great base for you.
We're not glamping. UMAKI is an equipped teepee with facilities, a welcoming atmosphere and is baby friendly.
The capacity is basically for 4 people, but the beds can be expanded to a full 6 beds. However, it is necessary to take into account the smaller space in the teepee.
In the colder season, when the fire heats up inside, you'd better count on a maximum capacity of 5 people.
Beds are always made with clean sheets, but please remember to bring sleeping bags or blankets.
What will you find in the tepee?

There are plenty of possibilities for excursions in the near and farther surroundings - on foot, by bicycle and by car.
In the surroundings you will find, for example, the ruins of Kouty Castle, the Votice Butterflyarium or Polský vrch.
A little further is the mythical Blaník Mountain (about 20 minutes by car), ParaZOO Vlašim or the castle park.

In hot weather I recommend visiting the biotope in Votice.
If you like good meat on the grill, I recommend visiting the company shop of Rancher specialties directly in Jestřebice. There you will find not only great meat, but also cold cuts or ready-made soups and sauces that will be useful for your kettle.
The tepee and its adjacent surroundings with facilities are at your disposal.
You can also use the pergola by the lower pond. This is shared with the owner's family and their friends, but is only used occasionally.
There are now two separate cottages at the top of the property by the ponds, each with its own facilities. You can also meet their guests on the property.
There is also a children's playground by the upper pond, which can be used by guests of the cottages as well as guests from the tepees.
It is usually quiet at the tepees. However, to keep the grounds looking as you know them, they need to be looked after on an ongoing basis.
So occasionally you need to cut the grass around the tepees and ponds, trim branches or burn something. This can't always be done only when the tepee is free of guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Biotop Votice - very nice swimming, there is a paddling pool for small children, then one larger shallower pool and a third deep pool. There are refreshments and seating. There is also a beach volleyball court near the biotope.

In the near future we will finish the Indian trail that will lead from the Olbramovice railway station to UMAKI. In Votice there is a children's playground, a butterflyarium, a lookout tower Václavka, every Sunday in the summer in the monastery a theatre for children
In the tepee itself there are toys for children, things for drawing, board games, books
hiking
There is an immense amount of hiking trails in the surroundings.
For example, the nature trail along the Way of the Cross through Votick.
Making a fire inside the tepee is only possible if it is impossible to make a fire outside or if it is cold. If you make a fire inside, please make it small, because even a small fire will warm the teepee well and also - better a small fire than a teepee on fire :-)
There is a shelter by the lower pond where you can find an electricity socket to recharge your phone or power bank. You can use this shelter, but please note that it is not primarily for guests only, but is sometimes used by the landowner with family or friends (not often, but occasionally yes).
Please keep it tidy and remember to take your rubbish away.

We liked the accommodation in the teepee very much, everything was clean, prepared, we did not miss anything. The owner was very nice and prepared the number of beds according to our wishes.
🏕️ awesome, in the middle of nowhere, only one group of hikers drove around everything for a week. Silence, peace and the bubbling of water from the nearby ponds. The teepee had everything we needed and showering with the portable shower was a great adventure for the kids . We would love to come again

Beautiful, large, comfortable and equipped teepee in a great location. There was really nothing missing, on the contrary, there was a nice surprise ("minibar" in the stream). Arrangement with Markét was trouble-free, the owner is nice, helpful, recommends what to visit in the area. It was an unforgettable holiday experience for us and the kids. Thank you and good luck! :)
