Where do the property ratings come from?
The location was very nice, right in the heart of Kokořínsko, far enough away from the dwellings so the stars were beautifully visible and right around the campsite was a babbling brook, which was nice.
The campsite is enclosed by a hedge but from inside you can see out onto the meadow that rises on the opposite slope and the forest, but you can't see in from the road, which I appreciated very much.
The facilities on site were adequate - two giant benches about a metre wide and 3.5 or so long, plus two sets of tables with benches, plus a toilet, fairly clean, but you need to bring your own hand sanitizer to wash your hands or find another way on your own. The bin in the toilet is missing and other rubbish also needs to be taken away. There was plenty of toilet paper.
The campsite is smaller, cozy and I appreciated the heart shaped tree in the middle of the site.
It is more difficult to get in at first because the door plug is hard to pull, but I recommend pulling the gate as close as possible and then it is easier to release.
There is no running water or electricity but there should be a spring a few hundred metres away and there is a pub in the nearby village so survival is not a problem :D.
The arrangement with the owner was very pleasant, nothing was a problem, we could eventually arrive without anyone having to open the door, we were just given instructions on how to do it and eventually got in so it really doesn't matter when you arrive. Leaving at 11 is very relaxing too.
All in all the camp met expectations and everything they claim on the website is true to reality. Total satisfaction!
