In April 2025, we lovingly completed the preparations for our garden house and are now happy to open it to our first guests.
It's a place with soul - a piece of green tranquillity on the edge of town where family history, honest craftsmanship and a cosy atmosphere meet.

The house was built in 1985 by my grandfather Antonín with the vision of one day enjoying a peaceful old age. But fate willed otherwise and for many years the house served only as a warehouse. In 2020, my husband and I decided to breathe new life into it - we added a bathroom, refurbished the old kitchen, replaced the windows and laid new tiles.

For three years, it served as a base for the renovation of our 100-year-old house - and it was here that the first Hacati upholstery workshop was established. The first renovations of chairs, armchairs and stools, the first upholstery courses, the first meetings with customers and aspiring artists.

In the spring of 2024, we moved the workshop to a larger space directly below the house - in the basement of a renovated villa. This freed up the house for a new use - and today you can live in it.

It is ideal for 2-4 people. You will find a fully equipped kitchen, a compact 3-in-1 bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, a comfortable bed and a sofa bed. Outside you can enjoy the tranquillity of the garden, sit by the shared fire pit or lounge in the hammock.

The interior of the house combines elements of upcycling and upholstery craft - every detail bears the handwriting of the hostess Monika. And if you're tempted to try your hand at the craft for yourself, you can visit our open workshop Hacati during your stay. By appointment, it is possible to take part in an upholstery course or workshop and take home your own repaired piece.
